  kakarot- 6/7=13 (white) the grandaddy. porsha -5/3=8 (solid blue) daughter of chiana n kakarot tenchi -6/3=9 (blue/gold) daughter of chiana n kakarot (luner =9 elbows = 0 (blue/gold) not belonging to myself. daughter of chiana n blue) blaze =20 (solid blue) daughter of paris n blue gypsy =16 (blue/red) awaiting elbowscore. daughter of paris n blue. latest achievement, congrats to lesley/mark 13/02/09 titan -3/2=5 (solid blue) grandson of kakarot/chiana, son of porsha/blue. congrats to bekka(firesrye) 17/02/09 gypsy's elbow score is back and she has now got a elbow score of- 0, to go with her hipscore of 16.

about hipscore's

  a majority of dogs suffer some degree of hip dysplasia. when you take a dog to be hipscored it will be sedated, placed on its back and its back legs will be pulled back for an xray to be taken, this xray will then be sent off to the bva- british veterinary association to be scored. the left and right hips have 9 different angles which are given a score, each angle is scored o-6, 0 being a good score. the angle scores are then totaled for each side (left n right). best score being 0/0=0, worst score being 53/53=106. note- buying a puppy from a breeder who has not only hipscored the parents but each parent has low scores ie sire has hipscore of 5/6=11 and dam has 6/3=9. this does not guarantee that your puppy will have good hips, the litter could have 1, 2 or even 3 pups with bad hips. so please do not presume that just because the parents had fabulous scores that your puppy will follow as you could have picked the puppy which did not inherit good hips also- a dog's movement can be decieving, he may look like he glides and could have good hips, when in fact he has bad hips, he can even have a high hipscore and never have any problems. hipscores, in my opinion are for breeders.
